Meet Dr. Rachel Dwyer
Dr. Rachel Dwyer grew up in Plant City, Florida with her Mother Nancy, Father Johnny and younger sister Olivia. Dr. Dwyer graduated Valedictorian from Chamberlain High School where she was also a member of the 7A Florida State Champion Softball Team. She attended Florida International University Honors College and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Dwyer was a competitive softball player throughout her life and was a D1 pitcher on the FIU softball team where she was awarded the C-USA Commissioners Academic Medal every year.
Dr. Dwyer then attended the University of Florida where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. During dental school she was involved in the American Association of Women’s Dentists, Admissions Outreach Ambassadors, American Student Dental Association and UF Dental Ambassadors. Outside of Dentistry Dr. Dwyer enjoys spending time with her family, spinning classes, baking, trying new restaurants, reading, and going to sporting events. Dr. Dwyer loves meeting new people and is looking forward to building long-term trusting relationships with her patients. She is passionate about oral health and got into dentistry in order to ensure patients have the best experience possible at the dentist. Dr. Dwyer loves that dentistry provides the ability to help people feel better and smile proudly while doing so.
